Job summary

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking a Protection Case Worker to support PCM services across five districts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The Case Worker will manage an assigned caseload through the full PCM cycle, including identification, intake, assessment, case planning, referral, follow-up, and closure, within a survivor-centered, Do No Harm framework.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology, international relations, or equivalent, 1–2 years of field

Qualifications

Bachelor’s in psychology, sociology, IR or related field.
1–2 years field experience in protection case management.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

Provide Protection Case Management to high-risk individuals per PCM guidelines.
Identify and register vulnerable individuals via outreach and referrals.
Manage full PCM cycle: intake, safety planning, needs assessment, referrals, follow-up, closure.
Refer eligible clients for Cash for Protection assistance and document consent.
Establish quality referrals to legal aid, GBV response, health, and other services.
Orient community-based protection partners on PCM standards and referrals.
