Job summary

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking a Protection Case Worker for an IOM‑funded project across five districts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. You will manage caseloads through full PCM cycles—identification, intake, assessment, planning, referrals, follow‑up and closure—protecting at‑risk individuals, including GBV and child protection concerns, in a survivor-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Sociology, International Relations, or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of field experience in protection case management, preferably in emergencies.
• Ability to work under pressure in an unstable security environment.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Experience in training, capacity building, and team development.

Responsibilities

• Provide Protection Case Management to high-risk individuals at district level per PCM guidelines.
• Identify and register vulnerable individuals through outreach, referrals, and intake processes.
• Oversee the full PCM cycle: intake, safety planning, assessment, referrals, follow-up, and closure.
• Establish quality referrals to legal aid, health, GBV, and protective services; monitor uptake.
