Role: US Federal Proposal Writer & Compliance Manager (USA Government Contract Bid)

We are expanding our US Government Contracting division. We are seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and exceptional wordsmith for the role of Proposal Writer & Compliance Manager.

You will be entirely responsible for building our winning contract bids. Your primary responsibility is to read highly complex US government Request for Proposals (RFPs), write the technical execution plans in flawless English, ensure 100% legal compliance, and successfully submit the final proposal into US government portals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• RFP/RFI Analysis & Shredding: Thoroughly read and analyze US federal Request for Proposals (RFPs), RFIs, and Performance Work Statements (PWS). Create detailed compliance matrices to map out every single rule, form, and deadline required by the agency.
• Technical Proposal Writing: Draft high-quality, authoritative, and persuasive corporate English text for the proposal. This includes writing executive summaries, management structures, past performance summaries, quality control plans, and technical execution frameworks.
• Compliance Management: Double-check every element of the bid against the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DFARS clauses. Ensure that all representations, certifications, font sizes, page limits, and mandatory forms are 100% perfect. Zero errors tolerated.
• Team Coordination: Collaborate closely with corporate leadership and US-based teaming partners to gather technical input, resumes of key personnel, and past performance data to integrate cleanly into the proposal document.
• Final Submission Management: Manage the final packaging, desktop publishing, and formatting of the bid. Log into US federal procurement portals (such as SAM.gov, PIEE, or specialized agency portals) to cleanly upload and submit the final proposal prior to the deadline.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Experience: 3 to 5+ years of direct experience as a Federal Proposal Writer, RFP Specialist, or Government Contract Compliance Manager for US public sector contracts.
• Exceptional Written English: Flawless, professional, C-level corporate writing skills. You must be able to turn complex technical data into easy-to-read, persuasive proposals. (Candidates with backgrounds in Technical Writing or Corporate RFP editing are highly preferred).
• Compliance Knowledge: Deep structural understanding of the US Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), particularly regarding section L & M criteria, small business participation, and general source selection processes.
• Portal Familiarity: Confident navigating federal procurement platforms for proposal submittals (SAM.gov, GSA eBuy, etc.).
• Organization Skills: Extreme attention to detail. Ability to work under heavy pressure and meet strict, rigid federal deadlines without breaking.
