Job summary

iSystems Ltd in Lahore seeks an experienced Payroll Project Manager to lead planning, implementation and delivery of payroll projects, coordinating business and technical teams to ensure accurate payroll processing, regulatory compliance and successful go-lives.

You will manage end-to-end lifecycle, oversee SIT/UAT, data migration, and system integrations with HRIS, time and attendance, finance and benefits, while driving risk management and clear stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years in payroll/HRIS/payroll projects.
• Experience managing payroll system implementations.
• Strong end-to-end payroll process knowledge.
• Experience with payroll integrations.
• Experience across multiple countries is a plus.
• Knowledge of compliance and data privacy.
• Cross-functional leadership and communication skills.
• PM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end payroll projects from planning through go-live and post-implementation support.
• Develop and maintain project plans with milestones and deliverables.
• Coordinate payroll design, configuration, testing, and implementation activities.
• Manage integrations between HRIS, payroll, time & attendance, finance, banking and benefits.
• Oversee data migration, validation, and reconciliation.
• Lead SIT and UAT, parallel payrolls, and production readiness.
• Ensure payroll calculations, deductions, tax, and benefits are accurate.
• Collaborate with Payroll, HR, Finance, IT and vendors for successful delivery.
• Identify and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and changes.
• Provide regular status updates to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and data privacy in design.
• Maintain RAID logs and project documentation.
• Coordinate knowledge transfer to payroll/HR operations.
