Job summary

ibex is hiring for a Payroll Specialist to process weekly payroll, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced environment in Lahore. You will audit timecards and deductions, manage changes for new hires and terminations, and support month-end activities while collaborating with leadership.

The role requires strong Excel and Google Sheets skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll accurately and on time.
• Audit timecards, commissions, bonuses, incentives, and deductions.
• Ensure payroll compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Maintain employee payroll records with accuracy.
• Process new hires, terminations, wage changes, and payroll adjustments.
• Reconcile payroll-related accounts and reports.
• Assist with month-end and year-end accounting processes.
• Prepare labor and payroll reports for leadership.
• Support payroll journal entries and financial audits.

What You'll Own

Payroll Excellence

• Process weekly payroll accurately and on time.
• Audit timecards, commissions, bonuses, incentives, and deductions.
• Ensure payroll compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Maintain employee payroll records with exceptional accuracy.
• Process new hires, terminations, wage changes, and payroll adjustments. Manage garnishments, direct deposits, and tax-related payroll functions.
• Reconcile payroll-related accounts and reports.
• Assist with month-end and year-end accounting processes.
• Prepare labor and payroll reports for leadership.
• Support payroll journal entries and financial audits.

Systems & Reporting

• Utilize Sage Intacct to maintain payroll and accounting data.
• Build and maintain reports using Google Sheets and Google Workspace.
• Leverage ServiceTitan reporting to validate payroll, commissions, labor costs, and employee compensation.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and automate repetitive tasks.

Employee Support

• Serve as a trusted resource for payroll-related questions.
• Resolve payroll discrepancies quickly and professionally.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism.

What We're Looking For
