Edge is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator who will provide administrative and communication support to healthcare providers in a remote healthcare environment and serve as the key contact among patients, doctors, labs, pharmacies and admin teams.

Qualifications

• MBBS degree is mandatory.
• Mandatory U.S. healthcare experience.
• Clear and professional English communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Warm, empathetic and service‑oriented approach when interacting with patients and healthcare providers.
• Must be comfortable working 5 days per week, Monday–Sunday, with 2 days off per week.
• Must be comfortable working in-office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate telehealth appointments and required documentation.
• Monitor patient messages and route requests per protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient information in the EHR.
• Coordinate lab orders, results, and documentation.
• Handle medication-related requests and pharmacy coordination.
• Coordinate referrals and ensure follow‑through.
• Conduct post-visit follow-ups and schedule coordination.
• Manage inboxes, task queues and follow-up activities.
• Support communication between doctors, patients, labs, pharmacies and admin teams.
• Perform eligibility and benefits verification via EHR systems and payer portals.
• Verify coverage details including copays, deductibles and coinsurance.
• Identify prior authorization requirements and payer policies.
• Document eligibility, benefits and coverage accurately.
• Initiate and manage prior authorizations.
