Job summary

ACCA Careers is seeking a dedicated HR Executive to support the day-to-day operations of our UK accountancy firm. The role sits within the People and Culture Department and combines employee administration, client administration, compliance support and management of the BrightManager system.

Based in DHA Phase 2, Islamabad, this part-time, office-based position requires independent work, strong record-keeping and regular coordination with the UK management team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in HR, administration, operations or a similar role.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and cloud-based systems.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Proactive, reliable and comfortable taking ownership of tasks.
• Comfortable coordinating with a UK-based team.
• Experience within an accountancy firm, a UK-based organisation or using BrightManager would be an advantage but is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare employment contracts, offer letters and other employee documents.
• Maintain employee records, including holidays, absences, probation reviews and performance documentation.
• Support recruitment and coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding.
• Assist with staff training, development plans and performance-review processes.
• Managed and maintained accurate client records using BrightManager, overseeing client onboarding/offboarding, compliance documentation, risk assessments, ACCA compliance, and practice administration, while ensuring workflows, deadlines, reminders, and outstanding tasks were effectively managed.
• Support staff with company confirmation statements.
• Review and improve internal administrative procedures and systems.
