Job summary

Jobtailor in Lahore, Pakistan seeks a detail-oriented Shipping Coordinator with 1+ years of experience to manage daily shipment documentation and communications. You will coordinate with carriers, ensure timely pre-alerts and payment verification for cash customers, and uphold company policies while delivering high-quality service.

• Maintain DSR daily for quick reference.
• Track daily jobs from start to completion and plan for the day.
• Ensure clear communication with parties for critical shipments.
• Verify pre-alert / CAN / documents before shipment arrival.
• Ensure payment verification for cash customers before document release.
• Adhere to company policies on document handling and confidentiality.
• Provide high-quality service to customers regardless of volume.
• Identify potential problems and take proactive action.
• Assist customer service with handed-over business.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining DSR on daily basis for ready reference.
• Follow up on daily job during day start and completion per deadline, job planning for complete day.
• Ensuring clear communication to all related parties for shipments specifically for critical ones.
• Ensuring all pre alert / CAN / documents are sent to all related parties prior to shipment arrival.
• Responsible to make sure documents are not getting released without 100% payment for Cash Customer, any TDS deduction must be on letter head from customer to maintain proper accounting / future follow up.
• Ensure to follow company procedures and policies in terms of document handling / secrecy / accounts etc.
• Providing quality / high level of service to all customers irrespective of volume / revenue.
• Identify future problems based on current situation and take proactive action.
• Extending assistance to customer service on business which handed by them.
