Job summary

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) seeks a Signpost Assistant to respond to user comments and queries under Signpost guidelines, producing content driven by user needs. You will work under the Signpost Lead, coordinating with Protection teams and partners to disseminate information to vulnerable communities.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in a related field, with content writing and CMS experience. English/Urdu fluency is required; knowledge of local languages is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• At least 6 months experience in content writing.
• CMS experience would be a strength.
• Experience moderating social media preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Signpost activities and coordinate with partners and field teams.
• Draft accurate content and share information on civil documentation and services.
• Reply to messages and comments on social media per guidelines.
• Engage users in online conversations following guidelines.
• Develop vetted, well-researched answers to user queries.
• Share insights and learnings with the wider team.
• Stay updated with new information and attend trainings.
• Ensure two-way communication and safeguard confidentiality.
