Job summary

Alibaba Group is seeking a results-driven Operations Excellence professional to own and optimize logistics performance across Pakistan. You will establish governance cadences (WBR/MBR/daily reviews), conduct deep-dive analyses, and collaborate with Ops, Commercial, Product, and BI teams to implement data-driven improvements.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in logistics or e-commerce ops with strong KPI focus, Lean Six Sigma exposure, and hands-on governance experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher preferred.
Exposure to data analytics, performance management frameworks, or operations strategy is highly advantageous.
2-3 years of relevant experience in logistics, supply chain, or e-commerce operations with focus on performance KPIs.
Proven track record of driving improvements in service level, lead times, productivity, or cost efficiency.
Hands-on experience in performance governance (WBR/MBR), KPI tracking, and cross-functional execution.
Experience in fast-paced, high-volume environments with on-ground operational challenges.
Automation initiatives should be linked to business impact.
Strong understanding of logistics KPIs (SR, TTS, G2N, productivity, cost).
Strong data interpretation and root cause analysis capabilities.
Experience in running performance cadences (WBR/MBR) and closing action plans.
Leadership and ability to coach teams in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

Own and drive end-to-end logistics performance across Pakistan.
Establish governance framework (WBRs, MBRs, daily reviews).
Conduct deep-dive analysis on deviations and root causes.
Partner with venture operations to drive accountability and corrective actions.
Develop and refine KPI definitions, targets, and benchmarks.
Drive cross-functional alignment (Ops, Commercial, Product, BI).
Lead data-driven performance analysis to identify trends and improvements.
Build and maintain performance dashboards and reporting frameworks.
Translate data insights into actionable recommendations for leadership.
Support strategic decision-making through scenario analysis and forecasting.
Promote automation and Lean Six Sigma initiatives.
Identify performance gaps and lead process improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen.
Conduct value stream mapping to optimize logistics workflows.
Drive standardization of processes for consistency and scalability.
Ensure improvements are embedded in daily operations.
Identify opportunities to automate performance tracking and workflows.
Collaborate with BI and Product to develop scalable tools.
Reduce manual dependencies with data-driven systems.
Ensure SOPs, standards, and compliance are followed.
Conduct process audits and root-cause analyses for recurring issues.
Implement corrective and preventive actions to drive continuous improvement.
Bridge central Ops Excellence with local teams for alignment.
Work with Commercial, Customer Experience, and Product teams to improve service delivery.
Train and mentor teams on performance management and problem-solving frameworks.
Build internal capability in continuous improvement practices.
Lead and mentor Operations Excellence associates and analysts.
Set goals, monitor performance, and support team development.
Drive initiatives to reduce logistics cost per order without harming service.
