Job summary

Roche is seeking a Field Service Engineer (Partner Customer Care) to ensure customer success by delivering technical support and services in Faisalabad, Pakistan. You will be hands-on with groundbreaking instruments, supporting pre- and post-sales activities, installations, repairs, training, and remote assistance.

The role requires a bio-medical or electronics engineering degree, lab instrument experience, strong organization, flexibility, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in engineering in Bio Medical or Electronics from a recognized university of Pakistan.
• Hands-on experience working with instruments used in Research and/or Clinical or Hospital labs.
• Organized and methodical, with strong planning and prioritization skills.
• Flexible, willing to travel, and comfortable working unsociable or irregular hours when needed.
• Fluent in English & Urdu.

Responsibilities

• Support pre- and post-sales processes with technical expertise and provision of services in the core lab customer area.
• Drive on-site installations and handle urgent repair projects, ensuring swift resolutions.
• Advise customers and colleagues on the best use and maintenance of our instruments/equipment, ensuring they have access to critical technical insights.
• Implement installation of our instruments/equipment at customer sites, providing training for proper use.
• Provide on-site and remote phone support, offering expert guidance on troubleshooting and servicing.
• Perform preventive maintenance in line with defined standards, ensuring equipment is always in top condition.
• Decontaminate, pack, and return instruments/parts according to procedures, handling any technical complaints with efficiency and care.
