Job summary

Roche seeks a Field Service Engineer to support pre- and post‑sales activity with technical expertise in core lab instruments. The role involves on‑site installations, urgent repairs, and training at customer sites across Faisalabad, Pakistan.

You will advise customers on proper instrument use, perform preventive maintenance, and provide remote and on‑site support. Flexibility to travel and occasional irregular hours is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Biomedical Engineering or Electronics from a recognized university in Pakistan.
• Hands‑on experience working with instruments used in Research and/or Clinical or Hospital labs.
• Organized and methodical with strong planning and prioritization skills.
• Flexible, willing to travel, and comfortable working irregular hours.
• Fluent in English & Urdu.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote technical support for customer instruments.
• Lead on-site installations and urgent repair projects to ensure swift resolutions.
• Advise customers and colleagues on proper use and maintenance of instruments/equipment.
• Implement installation of instruments at customer sites and provide vital training.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot according to defined standards.
• Decontaminate, pack, and return instruments/parts per procedures and handle complaints.
