Job summary

Frontier Works Organization is seeking an IT Support Specialist to install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and other IT equipment at the mining project site in Nokundi. You will provide hardware, software, OS, and network support to site personnel and ensure reliable IT services.

The role requires a Diploma in IT/Networking and hands-on ability to install and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi, IP phones, CCTV, and related systems, coordinating with the IT team to keep operations running

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain computers, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment at the mining project site.
• Provide technical support to employees for hardware, software, operating systems, and network-related issues.
• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain LAN/WAN networks, Wi-Fi access points, routers, and switches.
• Maintain network connectivity between site offices, accommodation camps, control rooms, and other project facilities.
• Perform routine maintenance, software updates, antivirus checks, and data backups to ensure system reliability.
• Install and troubleshoot IP telephones, CCTV systems, and other IT-related communication equipment.
• Maintain IT asset inventories, equipment records, technical documentation, and service reports.
• Coordinate with the IT team and service providers to resolve technical issues and ensure uninterrupted IT services at the mining site.
