Job summary

Maria Consultancy in Lahore, Pakistan, is seeking an IT Support Technician to install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment. You will diagnose hardware faults, install operating systems, and troubleshoot software and network issues to keep systems secure and up-to-date.

You will also manage antivirus, backups, and inventory, while providing user training and vendor coordination for repairs and warranties.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on troubleshooting of desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other office hardware.
  • Working knowledge of Windows installation, configuration, updates, drivers, user accounts, and common productivity software.
  • Practical understanding of LAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routers, switches, cabling, and connectivity diagnostics.
  • Ability to install software, manage antivirus and backups, and apply basic endpoint and network security practices.
  • Competence in hardware diagnostics, component replacement, preventive maintenance, and asset documentation.
  • Clear communication and patience when assisting non-technical users.
  • Ability to prioritize support tickets, maintain accurate records, and work independently with minimal supervision.
