Job summary

iGATE Technology in Sialkot is seeking an IT Support Officer to help maintain and support the IT infrastructure across production units. This entry-level role welcomes fresh graduates eager to learn in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will work under the guidance of senior staff to ensure network uptime, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, support Windows Server and Linux, manage basic ERP client issues on the floor, and help maintain IT asset inventory and connectivity for

Qualifications

• BCS/BSc CS or BS IT preferred or equivalent.
• Basic IT concepts and network knowledge.
• Willingness to learn in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor firewalls, WiFi, LAN/WAN connectivity and aim for uptime.
• Maintain production network uptime under supervision.
• Assist VLAN, subnetting and VPN configurations.
• Perform checks on Windows Server (AD, DNS, DHCP) and Linux servers.
• Troubleshoot hardware/software on terminals and printers.
• Assist in Active Directory users and permissions.
• Review firewall logs and report anomalies.
• Support ERP client issues on the production floor.
• Maintain IT asset inventory for switches, routers and printers.
• Respond to basic IT tickets on site.
