Job summary

Infinity Media in Lahore is hiring an IT Support Executive to be the first point of contact for IT problems in the office, set up and maintain Windows computers, and manage IT inventory.

This is a level-1 support role. You will work with the IT team on day-to-day tasks and can take on more advanced work as your skills grow. Lokated in Gulberg III, full-time, on-site.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in IT support, help desk or computer hardware.
• Good knowledge of Windows 10/11: installation, drivers, updates and troubleshooting.
• Able to open a PC and replace or upgrade parts such as RAM, SSD and power supply.
• Basic networking knowledge: IP addresses, Wi‑Fi and network cables.
• Organised and reliable, with attention to detail in record keeping.
• Polite and clear communication in Urdu and English.
• DAE or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.

Responsibilities

• User Support: Respond to IT requests from staff; troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, monitors, headsets and Wi‑Fi; install software; reset passwords; record requests and escalate when needed.
• Windows Setup: Install Windows 10/11 on new and rebuilt computers, add drivers and standard software, connect to office network.
• Inventory Management: Maintain IT equipment records, asset tags, spare parts; follow up warranty claims with vendors.
• New Joiners and Leavers: Prepare desks/computers for new staff and reclaim equipment on departure.
• Attendance Devices: Register staff on biometric attendance machines, check operation, report faults.
• Cabling and Equipment: Keep network cables neat, replace faulty cables, ensure cameras work.
• Documentation: Create simple guides and keep inventory up to date.

Infinity Media is hiring an IT Support Executive for our Tech Ops team in Lahore. You will be the first point of contact for IT problems in the office, set up and maintain Windows computers, and look after the IT inventory.

This is a level-1 support role. You will work with the IT team on day-to-day tasks and can take on more advanced work as your skills grow.

Responsibilities

• User Support: Respond to IT requests from staff. Troubleshoot problems with desktops, laptops, printers, monitors, headsets and Wi‑Fi. Install software, reset passwords and resolve common issues. Record every request and escalat… anything you cannot fix
• Windows Setup: Install Windows 10/11 on new and rebuilt computers, add drivers and standard software, connect the computer to the office network, and prepare it for the user
• Inventory Management: Maintain the record of all IT equipment: asset tags, who is using what, spare parts and consumables such as toner. Follow up on warranty claims and repairs with vendors
• New Joiners and Leavers: Prepare the desk, computer and accessories for new team members and show them the basics. Collect and reset equipment when someone leaves
• Attendance Devices: Register new staff on the biometric attendance machines, check that they are working, and report faults
• Cabling and Equipment: Keep network cables neat and labelled, replace faulty cables and accessories, and check that security cameras are working
• Documentation: Keep simple step‑by‑step guides for common problems and keep the inventory list up to date

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in IT support, help desk or computer hardware. Fresh graduates with strong practical skills may also apply
• Good knowledge of Windows 10/11: installation, drivers, updates and troubleshooting
• Able to open a PC and replace or upgrade parts such as RAM, SSD and power supply
• Basic networking knowledge: IP addresses, Wi‑Fi and network cables
• Organised and reliable, with attention to detail in record keeping
• Polite and clear communication in Urdu and English
• DAE or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field

Preferred Skills (Level-2)

The main job is level-1 support. Candidates with any of the following skills will be preferred and given more responsibility over time:

• Active Directory: creating users and groups, resetting passwords, joining computers to a domain
• Windows Server basics: shared folders and permissions, backups, updates
• Networking: configuring routers, switches, Wi‑Fi access points or firewalls
• Linux basics or experience with virtual machines
• Scripting with PowerShell or Batch, or experience with Windows imaging tools
• Experience with biometric attendance devices or business software such as an ERP
• CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA or a Microsoft certification
