Job Summary
We are looking for apresentable, proactive, and detail-oriented IT Officerto provide Level-1 technical support and assist with day-to-day IT operations. The role will primarily focus on user support, hardware/software troubleshooting, network support, employee onboarding/offboarding, and basic IT infrastructure management, along with supporting procurement and inventory activities.
Key Responsibilities
- ProvideLevel-1 IT supportfor hardware, software, operating systems, printers, peripherals, email, and general IT issues.
- Perform hardware troubleshooting, diagnosis, replacement, and basic maintenance ofPCs, laptops, monitors, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Troubleshoot systems runningWindows and macOS, including software installation, configuration, updates, and general system issues.
- Troubleshootinternet connectivity, LAN, Wi-Fi, and network-related issuesand escalat[e?] infrastructure-level problems when required.
- Have a working understanding ofIP addressing, DHCP, DNS, LAN/WAN, and wireless networks.
- Assist withActive Directory, GPOs, OUs, user accounts, and access-related tasksunder IT team guidelines.
- Have basic operational understanding ofUniFi Controller, Access Points, and wireless network management.
- Prepare and configure systems fornew joiners, including OS setup, required software installation, system configuration, asset assignment, and basic IT orientation.
- Conduct basicIT orientation for new employees, including system usage, IT policies, security practices, and available IT services.
- Handle and coordinate IT system movements and shifting requirements when required, including relocation of PCs, laptops, monitors, peripherals, networking equipment, and other IT assets, ensuring proper setup, connectivity, asset tracking, and minimum disruption to business operations.
- Manageemployee offboarding, including asset collection, system recovery, account/access removal, and coordination for credential/access revocation.
- Provide support and basic maintenance forbiometric attendance systems, electronic door locks/access control systems, and CCTV systems.
- Perform routine IT equipment checks and assist in maintaining a stable and reliable IT environment across company locations.
- Maintain proper records of IT support activities, assets, equipment, and assigned systems.
- Assist withIT procurement, including obtaining quotations, vendor coordination, price comparison, and order follow‑ups.
- Assist in maintainingIT inventory and asset records, including tagging, assignment, transfer, reassignment, and collection.
- Assist withOdoo purchase and invoice processingand maintain relevant documentation.
- Coordinate with vendors and Finance for IT-related procurement, invoices, deliveries, and warranty matters.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- BSCS / BSIT / Computer Engineering or related degree.
- 1–2 yearsof relevant IT experience.
- Good knowledge ofhardware and software troubleshootingwith hands‑on experience in Windows and macOS environments.
- Working knowledge ofIP, DHCP, DNS, LAN, wireless networking, and internet troubleshooting.
- Basic understanding ofActive Directory, GPOs, OUs, and user management.
- Basic understanding ofUniFi Controller and wireless network infrastructurewill be preferred.
- Good communication skills, bothverbal and written, with professional interaction with users, vendors, and internal teams.
- Presentable, professional, responsible, and customer-service oriented.
- Strong troubleshooting, coordination, documentation, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and operate effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience in aGaming, Software Development, or Technology companywill be preferred.
- Basic familiarity withOdoo, IT procurement, and inventory managementwill be an advantage.
