We are looking for an energetic, tech‑savvy, and detail‑oriented IT Assistant to manage daily office IT operations and provide technical support. Operations rely on cloud systems and demanding seasonal peaks, so ensuring reliable network uptime, smooth hardware performance, and prompt software provisioning is critical. This is a strong opportunity for a fresh graduate or junior IT professional to gain hands‑on experience in IT infrastructure and desktop support.
Set up, configure, and maintain workstations, laptops, printers, scanners, and biometric/attendance devices. Troubleshoot hardware, operating system (Windows/Mac), and peripheral issues. Ensure system patches, antivirus, and firewall rules are regularly updated to protect data privacy.
Monitor and maintain the office LAN, Wi‑Fi routers, and internet connectivity to minimize downtime during peak hours. Coordinate with ISPs in case of link failures or slow speeds. Maintain backup internet connections and implement seamless failover when required.
Assist HR and operations with onboarding by creating official email accounts and setting up access to platforms (QuickBooks Online, Xero, IRIS, SECP portals, CRM tools). Implement data security protocols and ensure access rights are revoked promptly on off‑boarding. Provide basic training and technical guidance to new staff on company software and communication tools.
Maintain an up‑to‑date digital inventory of IT assets (PCs, laptops, monitors, peripherals, UPS, network cables). Track routine maintenance schedules for hardware and backup power systems. Support management with hardware replacement planning and specifications for office expansion.
