We are looking for an HR & Administration Manager to own the full people agenda and the smooth running of our Karachi and Lahore offices. You will be the trusted advisor to leadership and the go-to person for every colleague, from their first day to their next promotion.
This is a hands‑on leadership role with real scope. You will shape how we hire, grow and retain talent, build the bench of future leaders, and oversee the teams that keep our offices running efficiently and safely. Key responsibilities
- Partner with Divisional Heads to turn business goals into an annual HR plan, aligned with ONE's regional and global policies.
- Advise on organisation design, workforce planning and people risks.
- Lead the HR team and report key HR metrics.
Recruitment and onboarding
- Own end-to-end hiring, from workforce plans to offers.
- Build talent pipelines and strengthen ONE's employer brand in Pakistan.
- Run onboarding, probation reviews and confirmations.
Learning and development
- Run the annual training needs analysis, learning calendar and budget.
- Deliver technical, compliance and leadership programmes and track their impact.
Succession and performance
- Maintain succession plans for critical roles and develop high‑potential staff.
- Run the annual performance cycle and guide managers on improvement plans.
Pay and benefits
- Oversee payroll with Finance, including tax and statutory deductions.
- Manage salary reviews, bonuses and benefits against market benchmarks.
Employee relations
- Handle grievances, disciplinary matters and investigations fairly.
- Lead engagement, wellbeing and recognition initiatives.
HR compliance
- Ensure compliance with Pakistani labour law, EOBI, SESSI/PESSI and company policy.
- Maintain HR policies, employee records and the HRIS (SAP SuccessFactors or equivalent).
Administration oversight
Dedicated Administration teams handle day‑to‑day delivery. You will oversee and coordinate their work across the Karachi and Lahore offices, setting standards, approving key spend and resolving escalations.
What you bring
Must have
- Master's or MBA in HR, Business Administration or a related field preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial generalist role.
- Hands‑on experience across recruitment, onboarding, L&D, performance, succession planning and employee relations.
- Experience overseeing office administration teams and vendors.
- Strong working knowledge of Pakistani labour law, EOBI, social security and payroll tax rules.
- Excellent English and Urdu communication skills, written and spoken.
Good to have
- Professional certification such as CIPD, SHRM-CP/SCP or equivalent.
- Experience in shipping, logistics, freight forwarding or another multinational, matrix organisation in Pakistan.
- Working knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors or a similar HRIS.
