Job summary

Moniepoint Inc. seeks a senior Platform Lead to oversee the Sales Management Tools domain in Pakistan. You will guide a large engineering org, shape the platform strategy, and ensure reliable, scalable systems used by millions of users and a vast agent network.

You will drive legacy modernization, collaborate with product teams, and leverage Braze for customer engagement as part of a broader platform modernization effort.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of software engineering experience, with at least 5 years leading engineering teams through growth phases.
• 5+ years of hands-on, production-level experience writing and shipping Java code as a practising engineer.
• At least 5 years of experience managing managers — leading an engineering organisation through other engineering leaders.
• Proven platform engineering experience at scale — building and running complex distributed systems.
• Navigated legacy migrations and re-architecture projects at 20M+ user scale.
• Strong backend engineering skills in high-throughput, data-intensive distributed systems, and proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experienced in managing large engineering teams of 20+ members.
• Experience building systems where financial correctness matters — commissions, payouts, wallets or ledgers.
• Fintech or payments background is strongly preferred. CRM or SalesTech domain experience is nice to have and explicitly not required.
• Exposure to customer engagement or marketing automation platforms such as Braze is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a large engineering organization with 20+ engineers.
• Oversee backend systems at scale using Java and Spring Boot.
• Architect legacy migrations and re-architecture projects for 20M+ users.
• Own platform reliability and performance for the Sales Management Tools domain.
• Collaborate with product and marketing teams; integrate Braze where appropriate.
• Manage and develop engineering managers within the organization.
• Ensure financial correctness in wallets, commissions and payouts.
