Job summary

Moniepoint's Monnify platform team seeks an engineering leader with 10+ years in software engineering and at least 5 years in management. You will own architecture, API integration, and multi-currency scalability in a fast-growing fintech environment.

Lead managers and engineers, shape developer experience, and drive reliability in a regulated, international context. Strong emphasis on collaboration with product and operations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• 5+ years in engineering leadership roles.
• Experience in payments/fintech products and payment flows.

Responsibilities

• Own the full technical strategy, architecture and roadmap for the Monnify platform across all capability areas.
• Lead multiple engineering teams through their managers, setting quality standards and building organisational capability.
• Own the developer experience end-to-end, including APIs, documentation, SDKs and integration ease.
• Drive platform evolution towards multi-currency and international scalability.
• Ensure platform reliability, scalability and security within a regulated environment.
• Partner with product, commercial and operations teams to align technical investments with business goals.
• Hire, mentor and develop engineering managers and senior engineers to support growth.
