Job summary

Moniepoint is seeking a Head of Engineering, Supply Chain to lead the software estate behind inventory, logistics, repair and warehouse workflows for millions of devices across markets. You will shape technical strategy, run a remote, distributed engineering organization of about 25 engineers, and drive platformisation to make operational data visible and trustworthy.

The role requires 10–15 years in software, 5+ years leading managers, and hands-on Java development; fintech experience and scale

Qualifications

10–15 years of software engineering experience with 5+ years leading engineering teams.
5+ years of hands-on Java coding experience.
Experience managing managers and large engineering teams.
Deep hands-on experience in supply chain, inventory or logistics software at scale.
Fintech or regulated industry experience and understanding of device management in payments.

Responsibilities

Own the technical strategy and architecture for inventory and logistics tools.
Lead an engineering organisation of roughly 25 engineers including managers, QA, SRE and Data Engineering.
Drive platformisation of systems so data is visible and trustworthy across markets.
Bridge operational practice with software systems through disciplined engineering.
Define standards, processes and metrics to ensure reliability and data integrity.
Collaborate with business and operations to translate requirements into solutions.
Hire, mentor and develop engineering managers and senior engineers for growth to 30+.
