National Bank of Pakistan NBP in Karachi seeks a GL Control Officer (OG-II) to join the Financial Control area. The role involves data collection for GL balancing, issue tracking, and MIS reporting, under the Unit Head GL Control Unit.

The position is contractual for three years and requires strong Excel, Power BI familiarity and 2+ years in finance. Qualifications include Graduation (HEC-recognized) and ACCA/ICMA/CA Part Qualified optional credentials.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Finance/Accounts.
• Hands-on experience with GL accounts.
• Strong business communication and analytical skills.

Responsabilités

• To collect data regarding GL balancing and validation.
• To compile monthly/quarterly/annual MIS reports for GL balancing.
• To maintain and update records of outstanding GL balancing and validation issues.
• To identify recurring GL balancing discrepancies and provide information for corrective action.
• To perform any other assignment as assigned by supervisor.
