Job summary

Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy is seeking a finance professional to support accounting functions for donor-funded programs. The role involves processing payments, maintaining filings, and recording daily transactions to ensure accurate financial data.

The candidate will assist in budgeting, bank reconciliations, SOEs, and reports for donors while coordinating with donor TA staff and supporting audits and queries from the finance controller.

Qualifications

• Graduate or Master degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 3–4 years of experience in donor-funded projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist in processing payments, receipts, invoices, and vouchers.
• Maintain proper filing of financial documents (physical and electronic).
• Record daily financial transactions in accounting systems or spreadsheets.
• Prepare monthly statements of expenditures (SOEs).
• Assist in budget tracking and expenditure monitoring.
• Assist in preparing bank reconciliations.
• Coordinate with donor TA staff and respond to queries.
• Initiate action to correct discrepancies and respond to finance controller queries.
• Prepare invoice and utilization reports for donor TAs.
• Support audits by providing required documents.
