Job summary

RapidFix Services in Karachi, Pakistan is seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to install, maintain and repair instruments and control systems used in production processes.

The role requires strong electrical/electronic knowledge, ability to read diagrams, and hands-on calibration and troubleshooting skills. At least 2 years of experience is preferred; on-site work and full-time employment are offered with accommodation and visa support for non-Pakistani nationals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as Instrument Technician.
• Strong understanding of electrical circuits and components.
• Familiarity with measuring and control equipment.
• Ability to read technical diagrams and manuals.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain various types of instruments such as sensors, transmitters, controllers and analyzers.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning instruments and control systems.
• Perform routine maintenance on instruments to ensure proper functioning.
• Calibrate instruments according to specifications.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Assist in the design and implementation of new instrument systems.
• Train other technicians on instrument maintenance procedures.
