Job summary

PTCL invites seasoned Cloud Operations professionals to join our nationwide Public Cloud Infrastructure team. You will manage 24/7 operations for IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and DRaaS, ensuring availability per SLAs while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

The role requires VMware-based cloud stacks, OpenStack/OpenShift, Red Hat Linux, Windows Server expertise, and a track record in managed cloud services. PTCL offers a hybrid work model and family-friendly policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE from a recognized university.
• Certifications: VMware Public/Private Cloud Stack (Mandatory).
• Hands-on experience in VMware-based public/private cloud deployments.
• Experience in Cloud Managed Services (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS).
• Preference for experience with AWS/Google Cloud and related tech.

Responsibilities

• Administer and operate PTCL's Public Cloud Infrastructure on a 24/7 basis.
• Ensure cloud availability per SLAs with internal/external customers.
• Lead process improvements, audits, and ISO compliance efforts.
• Support pre-sales, RFP responses, and technical queries on cloud infra.
• Prepare and share KPI reports on capacity, performance, and security.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

Be responsible for working with relevant PTCL Technology Teams, Corporate Customers, Business Partners, and 3rd Party Vendors/OEMs

• To provide instant support & service on a 24/7 basis for the Public Cloud Services (IaaS, PaaS, BaaS, DRaaS, and SaaS). The services include administration, management, design, deploy & migration of cloud computing systems for IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments.
• This position is also responsible for the smooth day-to-day operations of PTCL Group's Public Cloud Infrastructure (including cloud computing, storage, backup, and network elements).
• This position will also play a vital role in leading and driving process improvement, internal and external audit compliances, and ISO compliances w.r.t industry-standard certifications

HOW CAN YOU EXPRESS YOUR TALENT

• Administration, management, and operations of nationwide PTCL's Public Cloud Infrastructure on a 24/7 basis and ensure the availability of cloud infrastructure according to the agreed SLAs with internal and external customers.
• Timely completion of all assigned Cloud Operations-related project tasks and routine operational tasks as per the given targeted timelines.
• Ensure E2E facilitation and extend support to all internal and external audit teams, certification, and regulatory authorities.
• Extend full support to business solutions, digital services, and other commercial teams and assist them with the pre-sales support for end customers, assist them in preparing responses to RFPs, and other technical queries related to Cloud Infrastructure.
• Identify, prepare, and share the regular KPI Reports of Cloud Infrastructure(i.e., Capacity, Performance, Availability, Security Conformance, etc.). Also, share these regular reports with the respective LMs, IT management, and Business Teams, and timely highlight the issues/challenges for early resolution.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

Qualification & Experience:

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree (Computer Science / Computer Engineering) from a reputable and recognized university.
• Certifications: VMWare Based Public & Private Cloud Stack (Mandatory), ISC CCSP – Certified Cloud Security Professional (Preferred), Red Hat OS / OpenStack / OpenShift (Preferred)
• Hands-on experience in Cloud Computing, especially VMware-based Public and Private Cloud deployments and operations.
• Excellent experience in Cloud Managed Services Models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), mission-critical infrastructure administration, and management
• Experience in Other Cloud Technologies (AWS and Google, etc.) will be preferred
