Job summary

Ocean Network Express (ONE) is seeking a detail-oriented Executive, Equipment Control to join the Operations team. You will manage container equipment reconciliation, monitor stock and utilisation, and maintain accurate records in OPUS.

You will coordinate with terminals and depots, support repairs, and analyse data to generate regular reports and improve efficiency. A diploma in Maritime Studies or related field with at least 2 years of experience and strong Excel skills are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma-qualified in Maritime Studies, Shipping, Logistics or a related discipline.
• Equipped with at least 2 years of relevant experience in maritime transportation, shipping, logistics, supply chain or equipment operations.
• Familiar with container equipment, depot operations, terminal processes and empty-container management.
• Knowledgeable in IICL standards, cargo-worthy inspection and container repair estimation — IICL certification will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage equipment reconciliation with terminals and off-dock yards to ensure accurate container inventory and system records.
• Monitor empty container stock and utilization, identifying long-stay and idle equipment and supporting actions to improve equipment turnaround and positioning.
• Maintain accurate container movement and equipment status records in OPUS.
• Coordinate with terminals, depots and internal stakeholders on equipment movements, inventory discrepancies and operational exceptions.
• Support container maintenance & repair activities, including verification of depot repair-related documentation and invoices.
• Analyse operational data by extracting, reconciling and visualising information for regular reporting and management decision-making.
• Identify operational and cost optimisation opportunities through data analysis and effective equipment control.
• Support Equipment Control workflows and other day-to-day and ad-hoc operational activities.
