Job summary

The Sui Southern Gas Company Limited seeks aMechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics engineer with PEC registration and at least six years of relevant experience to plan and coordinate maintenance activities for compressor stations and related facilities.

The role ensures minimum downtime and reliable compression and generation services to the transmission network and offices, with responsibilities spanning preventive maintenance, system configuration, and vendor coordination.

Responsibilities

• Review, plan and schedule preventive and productive maintenance of compression stations' machinery and equipment.
• Oversee maintenance and configuration of compression system.
• Ensure system upgrade to achieve optimum system performance at all times.
• Ensure that record of equipment configuration, maintenance, repairs and replacements is maintained.
• Provide engineering support to TOC (Technical Operations Centre) operations team.
• Conduct troubleshooting and follow-up investigation of transmission-related discrepancies.

JOB SUMMARY

The purpose of this position is to plan and coordinate maintenance activities at compressor stations and facilities while ensuring minimum downtime and continued availability of compression and generation services to the transmission network and offices.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review, plan and schedule preventive and productive maintenance of compression stations' machinery and equipment.
• Oversee maintenance and configuration of compression system.
• Ensure system upgrade to achieve optimum system performance at all time.
• Review, plan and schedule preventive and productive maintenance of compression stations' machinery and equipment.

• Ensure that record of equipment configuration, maintenance, repairs and replacements is maintained.
• Provide necessary support regarding procurement of local or imported spares and tools.
• Participate in the technical evaluation of bids for local / foreign spares and tools.
• Maintain vendor relationships and eliminate equipment performance and diagnostic issues requiring vendor's attention and follow up.
• Provide engineering support to TOC (Technical Operations Centre) operations team.
• Conduct troubleshooting, follow up investigation of transmission related discrepancies and work toward final resolution of the maintenance related problems.
• Recommend, design and implement technical and operational changes at compression facilities as assigned by the department head.
• Prepare engineering documents for departmental head's approval which include system diagrams, engineering SOPs, and special instructions for Operations.
• Review maintenance and operational schedules and related information.
• Discuss with department head to determine material requirements, identify delays in receiving materials and track material.
• The individual shall ensure compliance to the Enterprise Risk Management Framework enforced in the Company while performing job responsibilities in accordance with his assigned role.
• The individual shall ensure compliance to the Business Principles and Ethics Policy / Code of Conduct.
• Perform any other task assigned by immediate supervisor.
