Engineering Graduate in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering with at least 9 years of relevant experience

Responsibilities:

JOB SUMMARY

The purpose of this position is to provide technical expertise to ensure effective maintenance required for smooth and reliable operations of compressor stations. The position is also responsible to arrange and prioritize delivery / transportation / shipment of material and parts required for maintenance to relevant departments.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare plan and undertake scheduling of preventive and productive maintenance of compression stations’ machinery and equipment at periodic intervals.
• Supervise maintenance and configuration of compression system.
• Ensure system upgrade to achieve optimum system performance at all times.
• Prepare plan and undertake scheduling of preventive and productive maintenance of compression stations’ machinery and equipment at periodic intervals.

• Review and monitor records of equipment configuration, maintenance, repairs and replacements.

• Ensure daily, weekly, quarterly and monthly site inspections to verify the quality of maintenance jobs.
• Provide engineering support to the operations team of Technical Operations Centre (TOC).
• Ensure proper troubleshooting and follow up investigations of transmission related discrepancies until final resolution of the problem while complying with HSE SOPs.
• Recommend, approve, design and implement technical and operational changes to Compression facilities as assigned by the department head.
• Develop and revise engineering SOPs and special instructions for operations.
• Monitor routine condition monitoring tasks on the rotating equipment through data collection.
• Ensure that advanced portable data collectors and other tools are used according to the established schedules, standards and plant requirements.
• Develop condition monitoring database in the software and schedule routes for new units / plants accordingly as per specific situation.
• Monitor and supervise various Condition Monitoring Equipment and also the data in the computerized system.
• Develop plans for improvement in the reliability and availability of plant rotating equipment and minimize failures.
• Perform reliability improvement programs through Root Cause Failure Analysis process for rotating equipment as per requirements.
• Review technical reports preparation by providing all relevant vibration plots and process data.
• The individual shall ensure compliance to the Enterprise Risk Management Framework enforced in the Company while performing job responsibilities in accordance with his assigned role.
• The individual shall ensure compliance to the Business Principles and Ethics Policy / Code of Conduct.
• Perform any other task assigned by immediate supervisor.
