Job summary

Sui Southern Gas Company Limited is seeking an Engineering Graduate (Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics) with at least 2 years of relevant experience to support control panel design, PLC and HMI programming, and I&C commissioning for commercial and industrial facilities.

The role will involve monitoring I&C erection, maintenance of compressor station systems, safety compliance, and hands-on tasks in installation, testing, calibration, and daily analysis to sustain reliable gas supply.

Qualifications

Engineering graduate with 2+ years of relevant experience.
Experience in control panel design and BOM generation.
Programming and commissioning of PLC and HMI for facilities.
Knowledge of I&C erection/installation and safety compliance.

Job description

Engineering Graduate preferably Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics with at least 2 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Participate in control panel design and generate bill of materials, arrange cabling.
Undertake Programmable Logic Control (PLC) and Human Machine Interface (HMI) programming and commissioning for commercial and industrial facilities.
Monitor and inspect the instrumentation and controls (I&C) erection/installation activities with regards to progress, compliance with the Contract and applicable codes/standards, quality, safety and environmental acceptance.
Operate and maintain Instrumentation and Control (I&C) system of assigned compression package, according to designed conditions based on supply/demand throughout the year for smooth gas supply.
Rectify day-to-day problems related to the I&C equipment installed at the compressor stations and periodically organize and conduct inspections of compressor station's reliability through preventive maintenance
Check and ensure compressor stations reliability through preventive maintenance of I&C system and monitoring of performance as required in compliance with international codes & standards.
Manage operators/employees in the daily operation of the assigned compression system especially in I&C and provide technical assistance as required.
Participate in installing, programing, inspection, troubleshooting, and adjustment of electrical and mechanical equipment, instruments and related power generation systems and telecommunication systems.
Inspect on-going job sites for potential hazards.
Ensure adherence to applicable safety rules, regulations, practices, or procedures.
Perform corrective, preventive and schedule maintenance of the machines.
Perform testing, evaluation, modification and calibration of equipment and instruments.
Prepare daily analysis report to facilitate any decisions on actions to be taken.
Ensure calibration of the machinery from time to time in order to ensure smooth operations and accurate results.
The individual shall ensure compliance to the Enterprise Risk Management Framework enforced in the Company while performing job responsibilities in accordance with his assigned role.
The individual shall ensure compliance to the Business Principles and Ethics Policy / Code of Conduct.
Perform any other task assigned by immediate supervisor.
