Responsibilities:

JOB SUMMARY

The purpose of this position is to oversee and manage preventive and corrective maintenance alongside the commissioning and operations of Elevators, Power Generation, Telecommunication and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Telecommunication, Utility, Electric Networking, and Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) equipment & Technical Advisory Services (TAS) in order to ensure safe, smooth and uninterrupted operations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan and oversee the execution of preventive and corrective maintenance, commissioning and operations of elevators, power generation (generators), telecommunication and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA), electric networking and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment, utilities, and technical advisory services (TAS).
• Ensure uninterrupted services related to power generation, SCADA, HVAC, and elevators and smooth operation of the entire Microwave Telecom System.
• Ensure installation, start-up, and commissioning projects; coordinate and direct a team of technicians and/or installing contractors, perform prestart-up inspections and complete turnover of equipment.
• Plan for upgrades and maintenance by developing the appropriate internal and contracted project work and incorporating the costs of these projects in the appropriate budgets.
• Plan, direct, and prioritize elevator modernization including manpower needs, and utilize project management software and other scheduling tools.
• Ensure smooth operation of Microwave and Private Automatic Branch Exchange (PABX) landline at HO and other offices including smooth video and audio-conferencing system.
• Ensure smooth operation of HVAC and power distribution and SCADA system on transmission and distribution.
• Ensure smooth power generation throughout the SSGC.

• Manage SCADA system equipment, components, and assets including maintaining and developing equipment databases, software licenses, and application and configuration backups.
• Carry out planning, costing, and budgeting of the maintenance services, new installations, and consumables.
• Manage budgets and control costs associated with the department's activities, ensuring that they are within agreed parameters.
• Review work to ensure quality meets established standards, techniques, and safety requirements; make recommendations to improve quality and productivity.
• Develop and implement training programs for technicians and engineers, ensuring that they are up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices.
• The individual shall ensure compliance to the Enterprise Risk Management Framework enforced in the Company while performing job responsibilities in accordance with his assigned role.
• The individual shall ensure compliance to the Business Principles and Ethics Policy / Code of Conduct.
• Undertake any other assignment as instructed by the immediate supervisor.
