Job summary

Sui Southern Gas Company Limited is seeking an Engineering Graduate with at least 1 year of experience to execute field maintenance of meters at CMS and related stations. The role involves testing, calibration, data gathering, and adherence to ISO standards and OGRA procedures across the region.

Experience in oil & gas is preferred, with responsibilities spanning site visits, KPI support, data analysis, and coordination with field teams to ensure reliable metering and service delivery.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Execute field maintenance of meter maintenance in CMS region.
• Test and calibrate meters per ISO OGRA procedures.
• Gather CMS and TBS data to identify meter issues.
• Perform regular field visits to CMS for inspection and maintenance.
• Assist in implementing KPIs and support team growth.
• Prepare data exception and consumption analysis reports.
• Resolve high- and low-pressure and gas leakage complaints on 4/7 basis.
• Monitor field technicians and oversee inspections per SOPs.
• Coordinate with Distribution System Maintenance for low-pressure complaints.
• Coordinate with customers on renovations or upgrades of meter stations.
• Ensure compliance with ERMF and Ethics Policy; perform other tasks as needed.

Job description

Engineering Graduate preferably in Mechanical / Electrical/ Petroleum / Mechatronics with at least 1 year of experience.

Experience of working in Oil & Gas Sector is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Execute field maintenance activities of meter maintenance section in the respective region to ascertain that rotary/diaphragm/TOC meters installed at CMS are accurately measuring the gas flow, pressure, gas load, etc.
• Conduct the field maintenance while applying ISO standards and OGRA and SSGC recommended procedures for all types of meters during field maintenance activities such as testing and calibration.
• Gather/download pressure, flow rate, and consumption data of customer metering stations (CMS), Town Border Stations (TBS) to identify any anomalies ascertaining to identify and rectify issues related to meter maintenance in the field.
• Conduct regular field visits to Customer Meter Stations (CMS) for inspection and maintenance as per approved schedule and effectively oversee field teams
• Assist to implement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for each area of responsibility, fostering individual growth for every team member and to ensure team KPIs are achieved.
• Assists in preparing Data exception, and consumption analysis reports for metering stations, and submit to immediate supervisor for review and subsequent sharing with senior management for analysis and informed decision-making.
• Timely resolve and rectify the issues related to high- and low-pressure complaints and gas leakage complaints on 4/7 basis.
• Monitor the activities of field technicians to conduct the proper inspection and investigation of complaints and issues at CMS and recommend appropriate actions as per approved SOPs and policy.
• Perform on-spot coordination with Distribution System Maintenance for low-pressure complaints etc received from industrial and high-pressure commercial customers during field maintenance activity of CMS.
• Coordinate with customers for matters related to renovation, modification, upgrading or shifting of customer meter stations with the same premises and keep the relevant documentation updated.
• The individual shall ensure compliance to the Enterprise Risk Management Framework enforced in the Company while performing job responsibilities in accordance with his assigned role.
• The individual shall ensure compliance to the Business Principles and Ethics Policy / Code of Conduct.
• Perform any other task assigned by senior management.
