Job summary

INTECH Automation Intelligence is recruiting a Control System Engineer to design hardware for DCS, SIS, and FGS across oil & gas, petrochemicals, utilities and renewables. You will analyze customer specs, support cybersecurity and network architecture, and participate in FAT/SAT, commissioning, and handover.

The role requires a Bachelor's/Master's in Electrical/Electronics and 2–4 years in industrial automation, with strong communication and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master's Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• 2-4 years of work experience in Industrial Automation & Controls.
• Proven experience in hardware design for DCS, SIS and FGS.
• Experience with wellhead control panels, skids, and solar systems is preferred.
• Strong understanding of industrial standards, instrumentation, and control system principles.
• Experience with system testing, FAT, and site work including commissioning and startup.
• Hands-on experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interpret and discuss technical information.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement hardware for control systems including DCS, SIS, and FGS.
• Ensure adherence to major industrial standards.
• Demonstrate understanding of instrumentation and system functionality.
• Analyze customer specifications (FRS, P&IDs, C&Es) to gather project data.
• Support industrial network architecture and cybersecurity implementation.
• Prepare, review, and maintain engineering documentation (FDS, FAT/SAT, manuals).
• Participate in FAT, SAT, commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, and handover.
• Ensure compliance with project specs, standards, procedures and client requirements.
