Job summary

METRO Pakistan (Pvt) Limited invites an experienced procurement professional to lead supplier relationship management, identify and onboard new suppliers, and develop pricing strategies within our wholesale business.

You will analyze sales trends, track KPIs, research market movements, and collaborate with suppliers to expand product offerings and attract new customers, contributing to growth and competitive advantage.

Qualifications

• University degree (Master or Bachelor) in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or any Management Degree from a recognized University with at least 5 years of experience in the relevant industry.

Responsibilities

• Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiate pricing and contracts and address escalated supplier issues.
• New Supplier Acquisition: Identify and onboard new suppliers to expand product offerings and improve sourcing options.
• Customer Acquisition: Develop and implement strategies to attract new customers to the category.
• Sales Analysis and Performance Tracking: Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, track key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on progress.
• Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences; use this information to inform category strategy.
• Product Development: Identify opportunities to introduce new products or improve existing ones; work with suppliers to develop exclusive offerings.
• Pricing Strategy: Develop and implement pricing strategies to maximize profitability and competitiveness.
