Job summary

METRO Pakistan (Pvt) Limited is seeking a Category/Supplier Relations professional in Lahore to manage supplier relationships, acquire new suppliers, and attract customers to the category. You will analyze sales, study market trends, and collaborate with suppliers to develop exclusive offerings and competitive pricing.

The role requires a university degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related management field, with at least 5 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• University degree (Master or Bachelor) in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or any Management Degree with at least 5 years of experience in the relevant industry.
• Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and leadership capabilities.
• Ability to analyze market trends, supplier performance, and pricing strategies.

Responsibilities

• Supplier relationship management: build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiate pricing and contracts, address escalated issues.
• New supplier acquisition: identify and onboard new suppliers to expand product offerings.
• Customer acquisition: develop strategies to attract new customers to the category.
• Sales analysis and performance tracking: analyze data, track KPIs, report progress.
• Market research: stay informed about market trends and competitor activities to inform category strategy.
• Product development: identify opportunities to introduce new products or improve existing ones with suppliers.
• Pricing strategy: develop and implement pricing strategies to maximize profitability.
