METRO Pakistan (Pvt) Limited is seeking a senior professional to lead category supplier relationships and drive sourcing strategies across Lahore and beyond. You will build partnerships with suppliers, onboard new providers, and shape pricing to stay competitive.

METRO opened its first cash & carry wholesale center in Pakistan in 2007 & expanded to 5 wholesale centers in a short span of 18 months. In July 2012 METRO and Makro-Habib combined their wholesale business in Pakistan marking the beginning of a long‑term partnership to the mutual benefit of both companies. The merger allowed METRO and Makro-Habib to combine resources and gain the financial strength to lead and grow in a challenging environment and to gain synergies targeted to generate value for our customers and suppliers alike. Today the company is operating 10 wholesale centers in Lahore, Karachi, Multan, Islamabad & Faisalabad.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiate pricing and contracts and address escalated supplier issues.
Identify and onboard new suppliers to expand product offerings and improve sourcing options.
Develop and implement strategies to attract new customers to the category. This might involve targeted marketing campaigns, promotions, or partnerships.
Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, track key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on progress.
Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences; use this information to inform category strategy.
Identify opportunities to introduce new products or improve existing ones; work with suppliers to develop exclusive offerings.
Develop and implement pricing strategies to maximize profitability and competitiveness.
University degree (Master or Bachelor) in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or any Management Degree from a recognized University with at least 5 years of experience in the relevant industry
