Job summary

METRO Pakistan (Pvt) Limited is seeking a senior professional to lead category supplier relationships and drive sourcing strategies across Lahore and beyond. You will build partnerships with suppliers, onboard new providers, and shape pricing to stay competitive.

The role also focuses on attracting customers, analyzing sales data, conducting market research, developing new products, and aligning pricing strategies with profitability targets.

Qualifications

• University degree (Master or Bachelor) in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or any Management Degree.
• At least 5 years of experience in the relevant industry.
• Experience in supplier relationships and contract negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships; negotiate pricing and contracts.
• Identify and onboard new suppliers to expand offerings.
• Develop strategies to attract new customers to the category.
• Analyze sales data to identify trends and report KPIs.
• Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities and customer preferences.
• Identify opportunities to introduce new products or improve existing ones with suppliers.
• Develop and implement pricing strategies to maximize profitability.
