DXB Perfume is looking for an experienced and commercially minded Commercial Pricing & Data Analyst to support decision‑making across our distribution, e‑commerce and retail operations.
This is not a purely technical or reporting role. The successful candidate will analyse sales, pricing, margins, stock and customer performance and turn data into clear commercial recommendations.
You will also manage cross‑departmental communication, maintain project trackers and lead meetings relating to pricing, performance and commercial analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse sales, margins and profitability by product, brand, customer and sales channel.
- Calculate product costs, landed costs, gross margins and contribution margins.
- Recommend retail, wholesale, marketplace and promotional pricing.
- Monitor competitor pricing and market positioning.
- Identify pricing inconsistencies, margin erosion and loss‑making activity.
- Analyse stock turnover, sell‑through, demand and product performance.
- Support purchasing, demand forecasting and replenishment decisions.
- Evaluate retailer terms, discounts and promotional performance.
- Create and maintain dashboards, reports and commercial project trackers.
- Track agreed actions, owners, deadlines and commercial outcomes.
- Lead meetings relating to pricing, data analysis and commercial performance.
- Prepare agendas, present findings and record decisions and actions.
- Manage cross‑departmental communication between Finance, Purchasing, Sales, Retail, e‑commerce, Marketing and Logistics.
- Follow up with departments to ensure agreed actions are completed.
- Identify risks, delays and information gaps and escalated them when necessary.
- Provide clear weekly and monthly updates to senior management.
- Improve the quality, accuracy and consistency of commercial data.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum four years’ relevant experience with a multinational company.
- Relevant experience within distribution, e‑commerce, retail, wholesale, FMCG, beauty or consumer products is essential.
- Candidates whose experience is exclusively within the technology industry will not be suitable.
- Strong experience in commercial analysis, pricing, financial analysis or business intelligence.
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau or similar reporting tools.
- Strong understanding of pricing, margins, discounts, landed costs and profitability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project‑tracker and task‑management skills.
- Confident leading meetings, presenting findings and following up on actions.
- Proven ability to coordinate across several departments and manage competing priorities.
- Experience using ERP, accounting or inventory‑management systems is desirable.
- Must be available to work typical UK office hours.
