Job summary

Farbstoffe Intl seeks a Matching & Production Designer to precisely match Pantone and brand colours across vinyl, textile, and substrates. You will oversee ICC profiling, spectrophotometer measurements, prepress, and RIP work, guiding proofs through approval to final QC.

Responsibilities include colour correction, file preparation, and creating 3D mockups for vehicle wraps and signage, with tight deadlines and attention to detail. 4–5 years of digital/large-format printing experience is required.

Qualifications

• Must have 4–5 years in digital printing, large format, or textile printing.
• Proficient in Pantone matching, ICC profiling and file prepress.
• Hands-on RIP software experience with Onyx, Wasatch or Caldera.
• Proficient in CorelDraw, Illustrator and Photoshop for artwork correction.

Responsibilities

• Match client Pantone/brand colours and samples across materials.
• Create and maintain ICC profiles for vinyl, fabric, and substrates.
• Use spectrophotometer data for accurate colour matching.
• Take proofs and obtain client approval before bulk production.
• Prepare files for prepress and RIP workflows with proper colour modes.
• Check final prints for colour accuracy and defects before dispatch.
• Coordinate with printer tech on colour or head issues.
• Create 3D mockups for vehicle wraps and signage as needed.
• Layout jobs to reduce media waste and improve efficiency.
• Manage material knowledge for best substrate selection.
