Job summary

Altoheed Printer in Lahore is seeking a skilled Graphic Designer to support prepress, packaging layout and marketing collateral, collaborating with account managers and print production staff to ensure press-ready files.

You will create layouts and dielines, prepare files for offset and digital presses, and maintain organized archives with clear instructions, ensuring brand guidelines are followed.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop for layout and dielines.
• Knowledge of color theory, Pantone matching and CMYK workflows.
• Experience preparing print-ready PDFs with bleed, trim and trapping.
• Familiarity with prepress and file preflight, imposition basics.
• Ability to work with dielines, vector artwork and barcode placement.

The Graphic Designer will support prepress, packaging layout and marketing collateral design, collaborating with account managers, print production staff and finishing teams to ensure accurate press-ready files.

Responsibilities

• Create original layouts, artwork and packaging dielines for labels, boxes, brochures and marketing materials consistent with brand and printing constraints.
• Prepare and optimize files for offset and digital printing, including color separations, trapping, bleeds, crop marks and embedded fonts.
• Convert client-supplied artwork to print-ready PDFs and perform preflight checks to identify and fix technical issues.
• Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot color, registration and imposition challenges on press.
• Maintain organized file libraries, version history and clear file instructions.

Job Specification

• Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop for layout, retouching and packaging dielines.
• Knowledge of color theory, Pantone (PMS) matching, CMYK and spot color workflows.
• Experience preparing print-ready files: bleed, trim, slug, trapping, overprints and export to high-resolution PDF/X standards.
• Familiarity with prepress processes, file preflight, imposition basics and artwork optimization for offset and digital presses.
• Ability to work with dielines, vector artwork, die-cut templates and barcode placement for packaging.
• Attention to detail, strong typography sense and ability to follow brand guidelines strictly.
• Good communication skills for liaising with clients, account managers and press operators; ability to interpret briefs and provide clear file instructions.
• Time management and ability to prioritize multiple print jobs in a fast-paced production schedule.
