Farbstoffe Intl. is seeking an Assistant Printer Operator to support the print floor, handle media, prepare materials and assist during print runs. You will learn nozzle checks, test prints and machine care by working with the main operator, and you’ll grow your skills in digital printing.

Qualifications

• Matric or Intermediate qualification required.
• 2–3 years’ experience in printing or production.
• Physically fit and quick to learn.
• Basic computer knowledge; willingness to learn CorelDraw, RIP and printer operation.
• Team player who follows instructions and stays punctual.

Responsibilities

• Media handling: load/unload vinyl, flex, canvas, sticker and textile rolls and assist alignment/feeding.
• Material prep: cut media to size, tape and prepare material for printing.
• Print assistance: support main operator during jobs, monitor prints and change ink cartridges.
• Finishing work: trim, weed, cut, laminate, eyelet punch and stitching support after printing.
• Job movement: move printed material to drying area, finishing section or packing.
• Daily cleaning: clean machine table, wipers, capping station and printer area.
