POSITION: Brand Specialist
JOB PURPOSE
As the Brand Specialist, you will support the Assistant Brand Manager (ABM) in driving category growth, portfolio strategy, and product innovations. You will assist in bringing together operator insights, category data, and commercial execution to help the team expand market penetration, increase consumption, and drive profitability.
WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
- Innovation & Renovation Support: Assist the ABM in tracking end-to-end category projects, compiling insight data, organizing business cases, and routing ideas through the local innovation gate process.
- Portfolio Savings & Maintenance: Help identify efficiency opportunities and support the implementation of incremental cost-saving initiatives across the portfolio.
- Operator Insights: Partner with the CMI team to coordinate research projects, gathering data on operator pain points and unmet needs.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Liaise daily with cross-functional teams (CD, planning, R&D) to track project milestones, ensure deadlines are met, and monitor launch performance against targets.
- Campaign & Asset Management: Collaborate with local/regional digital and customer marketing teams on launch execution, while maintaining the Portfolio Assets Toolkit (selling stories, key visuals, packaging) alongside the Creative team.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
- Experience & Qualifications: 2–3 years of experience in FMCG marketing, brand coordination, or trade marketing.
- Innovation & Project Execution: Solid grasp of product development lifecycles, keen attention to detail, and a proven ability to keep cross-functional projects on schedule.
- Creative & Commercial Aptitude: Ability to review creative assets constructively and interpret basic commercial/sales data to support decision-making.
- Agility & Curiosity: High adaptability to shifting project scopes, proactive problem-solving skills, and a genuine eagerness to understand consumer/operator behavior.
- Stakeholder Management: Clear communication skills to collaborate effectively across internal departments and external agency partners.
