• Level III postgraduate qualification in Nephrology (FCPS / MD / MS or equivalent) approved by PM&DC.
• Valid PM&DC registration and eligibility for faculty registration are required.

Responsibilities

• Advanced Clinical Leadership: Provide expert clinical care and oversee complex case management.
• Academic Leadership & Teaching: Lead teaching programs and mentor faculty, residents, and students.
• Research Supervision: Supervise research projects, theses, and ensure quality publications as per PMDC standards.
• Curriculum Development: Contribute to curriculum planning, review, and innovation.
• Departmental Oversight: Assist in managing departmental clinical and academic functions.
• Specialized Procedures: Perform and oversee advanced specialty-specific procedures.
• Examinations & Assessments: Serve as examiner and evaluator in professional examinations.
• Quality Assurance & Accreditation: Participate in institutional accreditation and quality assurance processes.
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Foster collaboration across departments for patient care and research.
• Policy Implementation: Support implementation of institutional policies and clinical protocols.
• Mentorship & Faculty Development: Guide junior faculty in teaching, research, and clinical work.
• General Responsibility: Any other task assigned by the management.

Job Requirements

Qualification

• MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized and registered with PM&DC.
• Level III postgraduate qualification in Nephrology, such as FCPS / MD / MS or another equivalent Level III qualification approved by the relevant PM&DC authority and recognized/registered by PM&DC.
• Valid PM&DC registration and eligibility for faculty registration are required.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of teaching experience as an Assistant Professor in Nephrology in a recognized medical institution, in accordance with PM&DC criteria.
• Demonstrated experience in clinical Nephrology, undergraduate/postgraduate medical education, trainee supervision, and academic activities.
• Strong evidence of research and scholarly contributions in the relevant specialty.
