Qualification

• Academic qualification: PhD in Speech and Language Pathology or a relevant, HEC-recognized equivalent field, where required under the applicable appointment category.
• Degree recognition: All relevant qualifications must be awarded by HEC-recognized institutions or supported by the required equivalence documentation for foreign qualifications.
• Relevant specialization: The candidates academic background and specialization must be relevant to Speech and Language Pathology and the courses assigned.

Experience

• Experience: Teaching, research, and/or professional experience as prescribed by the applicable HEC criteria and university service rules.
• Publications: Research publications meeting the applicable criteria, where required for the appointment category.

Job Description

• Assistant Professor of Speech and Language Pathology, responsible for teaching, clinical supervision, research, and academic administration.
• PhD in Speech and Language Pathology or a relevant field from an HEC-recognized university, subject to the applicable HEC discipline category.
• As prescribed by the applicable HEC criteria; the general-discipline route may permit a PhD holder without prior experience, or require four years of relevant experience for the specified alternative qualification
• Deliver lectures, develop curricula, assess students, and supervise clinical training in communication and swallowing disorders.
• Conduct scholarly research, publish findings, and contribute to academic and professional development.
• Participate in curriculum review, quality assurance, student mentoring, departmental committees, and community outreach.
