Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree from an HEC-recognized institution.
• Postgraduate qualification in Medical Education (e.g., MHPE or MPhil Medical Education) from a recognized institution.
• Valid PM&DC registration and license to practice.

Responsibilities

• Curriculum Delivery: Deliver core theoretical lectures and lead seminars aligned with HEC/PMDC syllabi.
• Research & Publication: Lead original research projects to meet HEC/PMDC requirements for publications and promotion.
• Examination & Invigilation: Develop TOS, MCQ banks, SEQ papers; supervise and conduct exams.
• Inter/Intra-Departmental Coordination: Coordinate with Basic Science and Clinical Departments for integrated modules.
• Mentorship: Act as academic and career mentor to undergraduate students and provide remedial support.
• Administrative Support: Assist the HOD in planning, inspection readiness, and compliance with PHC Punjab standards.
• Any other task assigned by management.

Job Requirements

Qualification

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree from an HEC-recognized institution.


• Postgraduate qualification in Medical Education, such as MHPE, MPhil Medical Education, or equivalent, from a recognized institution.


• Valid PM&DC registration and license to practice.

Experience

• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant teaching and clinical experience in a recognized medical institution.


• Demonstrated experience in medical education, curriculum development, assessment, faculty development, and student mentoring.

• Research & Publication: Actively engage in and lead original research projects to meet HEC/PMDC requirements for high-impact publications and future promotion.


• Examination & Invigilation: Develop the Table of Specifications TOS, MCQ banks, and SEQ papers for internal and professional exams; supervise and conduct exam invigilations.


• Inter/Intra-Departmental Coordination: Collaborate with other Basic Science departments to synchronize teaching; coordinate with Clinical Departments for integrated modules.


• Mentorship: Act as an academic and career mentor to undergraduate students, tracking their progress and providing remedial support.


• Administrative Support: Assist the HOD in departmental planning, PMDC inspection readiness, and PHC Punjab Healthcare Commission compliance for laboratory standards.


• Any other task assigned by the management.
