Job summary

Imtiaz Group (Private) Limited is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager – Warehouse Operations for its Port Qasim facility in Karachi. The role requires an MBA in SCM or related field and at least 10 years of relevant experience in warehousing or supply chain management.

The candidate will oversee daily warehouse activities, inventory control, and ERP/SAP/WMS records, while coordinating with supply chain and store operations teams to ensure efficient receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods.

Qualifications

• MBA in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in warehousing or supply chain management.

Responsibilities

• The selected candidate will manage daily warehouse activities and ensure that goods are received, stored, processed, and dispatched accurately and efficiently.
• Warehouse Operations Management
• Supervise receiving, storage, material handling, picking, packing, labeling, and dispatch activities; ensure timely order processing.
• Maintain proper handling and storage practices.
• Inventory and System Management; maintain accurate records in ERP, SAP, or WMS.
• Manage GRN, MTN, and daily MRRs; monitor inventory records and investigate discrepancies.
• Stock Rotation and Inventory Control; apply FIFO and FEFO processes.
• Conduct regular cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Team Supervision; assign daily tasks and provide on-the-job training.
• Support warehouse audits and ensure procedures are followed.
• Supply Chain Coordination; coordinate with supply chain and store ops teams.
• Support timely stock replenishment and dispatch; prevent delays and shortages.
• Operational Improvement; identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce costs.
• Allocate staff, machinery, and storage space according to workloads and seasonal demand.
