Job summary

Kashmir Wala Group in Karachi seeks a skilled Cargo Officer to manage import/export cargo operations, coordinating with freight forwarders, warehouses, customs, and ground handling agents. You will ensure compliance with airline SOPs, IATA/ICAO regs, and airport procedures while maintaining accurate records and timely cargo movement.

Minimum 3 years in airline cargo or logistics, with a relevant degree; willingness to work shifts, including nights and weekends, is expected.

Qualifications

Diploma/bachelor's degree in aviation, logistics, supply chain, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of relevant airline cargo or logistics experience.
Knowledge of AWB, cargo documentation, and flight cut-off procedures.

Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate daily air cargo operations including acceptance, booking, handling, storage, build-up, breakdown, loading and delivery.
Verify AWBs, manifests, weights, dimensions, labels and documentation.
Coordinate with freight forwarders, GHA/ground handling, warehouse, customs and other stakeholders.
Monitor readiness, schedules, cut-off times, acceptance, uplift and offload.
Ensure cargo is ready for timely departure and proper handling of special cargo.
