Job summary

leading-edge is seeking an experienced Freight Handler to oversee operations, customer service, and sales in a fast-paced logistics environment in Karachi. The role requires knowledge of Ocean, Land, and Air Freight and reports to senior management.

The candidate will manage daily freight operations, coordinate with carriers, ensure GDP and CERS compliance, and deliver excellent service to customers. Onsite work with 6 PM–2 AM shifts; 2+ years in the field preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in freight/logistics.
• Experience in Ocean, Land and Air Freight operations.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Customer service and sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day freight operations for Ocean, Land, and Air Freight.
• Obtain quotes for Courier, Air, Truck, and Ocean services for inbound and outbound shipments.
• Ensure compliance with GDP (Good Distribution Practice) regulations.
• Coordinate with domestic and international freight carriers to streamline operations.
• Provide excellent customer service and support to senior management.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Freight Handler to oversee operations, customer service, and sales in a fast-paced logistics environment. The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge in Ocean Freight, Land Freight, and Air Freight and will serve as the support to the operations team and reports to the senior management. This role requires managing daily logistics operations and ensuring seamless coordination between customers and the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day freight operations for Ocean, Land, and Air Freight logistics.
• Obtain quotes for Courier, Air, Truck, and Ocean services for both inbound and outbound shipments.
• Ensure compliance with Canadian Export Reporting System (CERS) for all shipments.
• He will be responsible for managing any conflicts that may arise within logistics operations, ensuring smooth resolutions. Additionally, excellent communication skills required to effectively liaise with regulatory authorities when required.
• Ensure compliance with GDP (Good Distribution Practice)regulations.
• Coordinate with domestic and international freight carriers to streamline operations.
• Assist the senior management in overseeing all aspects of the business, acting as a reliable backup when needed.
• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and addressing their shipping needs.

Requirements

• 3 5 Years of relevant experience is mandatory.

• Extensive experience in Ocean, Land, and Air Freightoperations.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service and sales experience.
