Job summary

Accountaxpert LLC in Lahore is seeking an Accounting Associate to support the monthly close for a portfolio of international clients, with supervision from a senior reviewer. You will learn US GAAP and modern cloud accounting on real engagements, not exercises.

It's a panel position with a clear, documented path from Associate to Specialist. You will receive structured training on Xero and QuickBooks Online and work from our Lahore office alongside the team.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years accounting experience, including fresh graduates.
• Grounding in double-entry bookkeeping and reconciliations.
• Comfortable spoken and written English.
• Willing to work an overlap with US business hours.
• Residing in Pakistan and legally able to work here.
• Genuinely willing to learn — we train on the platforms.

Responsibilities

• Support the monthly close for a portfolio of international clients
• Prepare bank, credit card and payment-processor reconciliations for review
• Process AP and AR transactions accurately and on schedule
• Assist with payroll runs and supporting schedules
• Keep client records and documentation tidy and audit-ready
• Follow documented processes and flag anything that looks wrong

Lahore office Full-time US shift overlap (approx. 6:00pm–3:00am PKT)

About the role

This is where a lot of our senior people started. You'll support the close for international clients — reconciliations, AP and AR, payroll runs — with a senior reviewer checking your work and explaining the why behind it. You'll learn US GAAP and modern cloud accounting on real engagements, not exercises.

It's a panel position: we place you when a matching client engagement begins. We'll always be straight with you about where you are in that process.

What you'll do

• Support the monthly close for a portfolio of international clients

• Process AP and AR transactions accurately and on schedule
• Assist with payroll runs and supporting schedules
• Keep client records and documentation tidy and audit-ready
• Follow documented processes and flag anything that looks wrong

What we're looking for

• 0–3 years of accounting experience — including fresh graduates
• A grounding in double-entry bookkeeping and reconciliations

Nice to have

How we hire
