Job summary

HCA Consulting Group is hiring an accounting professional for on-site duties in Lahore. The role covers reconciling banks and card accounts, managing AP/AR, and leading monthly close and reporting for group entities.

The candidate should have ACCA/ICMA finalist status or a related degree, with exposure to US GAAP and proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or MS Dynamics 365 and Excel. A 6PM–2AM shift is expected.

Qualifications

• ACCA/ICMA Finalist or pursuing qualification and a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Experience with QuickBooks, Xero or MS Dynamics 365/Business Central and Excel.
• Exposure to US GAAP and strong accounting process knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts and manage AP/AR including invoicing and bills.
• Enter journal entries and perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Lead monthly close and reporting, including consolidation for holding and portfolio companies.
• Assist operating and new subsidiaries with accounting needs and audits.
• Ensure US GAAP/IFRS compliance and support internal controls initiatives.

Job Specifications

Experience: 6 Months - 48 Months

Timing: 6PM - 2AM

Location: On-site, Phase 8, DHA, Lahore

What You'll Be Working On

• Reconcile credit card and bank accounts, and manage AP/AR functions including invoicing and bill payments
• Enter journal entries and complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Lead monthly closing and reporting, including consolidated reports for the holding company and its portfolio companies
• Support Operating Companies and newly onboarded companies with accounting and finance needs
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP / IFRS, and assist with audit requests and internal controls
• Help implement consistent accounting practices and support organization-wide initiatives (system migrations, process improvements, metrics tracking)
• Assist with other accounting and finance projects as requested

What are we looking for?

• ACCA/ICMA Finalist; Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Experience in QuickBooks, Xero, Microsoft Business Central or other accounting platforms
• Exposure to US GAAP
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with advanced working knowledge of Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and problem-solving skills
• Prior public accounting, corporate accounting, or month-end close experience
